Play on: Atlanta Braves +105

The Braves now boast a magic number of 15 to win the NL East after Ronald Acuna, Jr.'s high-output game yesterday (HR, SB, 2 runs scored). The Braves have now won 7 games in a row and their last 11 games at home. The Washington Nationals have been hot of late as well, but have lost back to back games for the first time since the second week in August.

Braves pitching has been excellent over the last 17 games going 15-2 with a 2.52 ERA and we fully expect that to continue tonight with Braves left-hander Dallas Keuchel (6-5, 3.72). Keuchel didn't pay immediate dividends when signing in June with Atlanta, but in his past 4 starts Keuchel has a 1.08 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 25 innings. Despite the fact that Keuchel has struggled against the Nationals this year going 0-2 in both contests with a 6.10 ERA and 7 earned runs in 10 and a third innings.

The Washington Nationals counter with a left-hander of their own in Patrick Corbin (11-6, 3.19) who has been a real boost to the Nats rotation in 2019. Corbin is 4th in the National League in strikeouts with 201, and is 1-0 versus the Braves this year in two starts allowing only 13 hits in 11 innings to go along with 4 runs.

Despite Corbin's success this season, we'll back the Braves and their 7.02 runs per 9 innings versus left-handers in 2019 and a Dallas Keuchel who seems to be finding his groove late in the summer after missing the first couple of months of the season.
