Play on: Texas Rangers +115

They have lost 4 of their last 5, but this price we'll take the Texas Rangers and left-handed rookie Kolby Allard tonight in Baltimore against the Orioles. Allard (3-0) struck out 4 and grabbed the win in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Mariners, and he allowed only two runs on seven hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. Allard has done a great job of keeping the ball in the yard as he has only given up one home run over his 27 innings, and he gets an Orioles team ranked 23rd out of 30 MLB teams with 177 total home runs for the season. However, Baltimore is hitting .327 in their last 10 games versus left-handers, so Allard will need to watch his ball placement all night. The Texas Rangers absolutely melted in their last two games against the Yankees last series despite an impressive 7-0 shutout in the first game. Ranger hitters continue to struggle at the plate with a team batting average of .199 in the last 10 games, but look for them to get well against Means and a Baltimore Orioles team on its way to another 100 loss season.

The Orioles will counter with a lefty of their own in John Means (10-9) who picked up the win Friday allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings while striking out four in a 14-2 crushing of the Royals in Kansas City. In his last 8 starts, Means has gotten the decision each time going 3 and 5 over that span. Despite two quality starts in a row, we'll still go against Means.
